los feliz

Want to get to know Los Feliz a little better. Here are a few places to eat, things to do and places to shop to help you get a taste of the city nestled between Griffith Park and Melrose Avenue.

If you’re hungry for breakfast try Brunch at Little Doms. They serve pizza for breakfast—that is breakfast pizza.

Take a hike. We mean that literally not figuratively. Griffith Park has a plethora of hiking trails from easy to kinda hard. Make sure to visit the Griffith Observatory for the best panoramic views of Los Angeles.

Enough with the walking. How about some reading? Visit Skylight Books where you can peruse aisles and aisles of eclectic books. Once you’ve browsed and bought, why not take a coffee break. We suggest coffee at Bru.

More shopping can be found down the street from Bru at the Wacko Soap Plant which offers toys, strange books and  pop-culture novelties. It also has a small art gallery in the back.

Ready for Lunch? Try out Vinoteca Farfalla for wine and cheese. They offer 45 varieties of wine by the glass.

If you’re still hungry order a pizza to go from Mozza2go to take with you when you go see a screening of a classic film at the Hollywood Cemetery. Movie screenings are shown all summer.

“You know how to whistle, don’t you? Just put your lips together and blow.” That’s our Bacall impression.

After your film try a nightcap at The Library—an open air and indoor lounge at The Redbury. Try one of their craft cocktails.
