This one is really cool—Galco’s Soda Pop Stop. It’s a fund raiser benefiting Friends of the Southwest Museum Coalition. At this event you’ll get to sample soda pop from different countries including England, Italy and France. www.galcos.com

The Los Angeles Zoo is having an after hours party. 18-and-olders can attend this event and visit animals and explore habitats. www.lazoo.org

July 25 through August 2

The Special Olympics World Games is coming to Los Angeles. Events will be held at different venues around Los Angeles. www.la2015.org

The Skirball Cultural Center will be presenting Bassekou Kouyate and Ngoni Ba (an instrument that looks like a banjo). www.skirball.org
