Oktoberbeast will be happening on October 31 and 31 at Alpine Village. This event will include costume contests, face painting, a Thriller dance as well as food and drink. Also on October 30th in the evening will be the “Monster’s Ball” Halloween costume party featuring Trinere, a costume contest and live music. Costumes are required. On Halloween night, October 31st from 7 p.m. to 2 a.m., Alpine Steinhaus will host “MOZter Mash” with live music and DJs. Alpine Village is located in Torrance.
MOLAA Dia de los Muertos Gala
Located at the Museum of Latin American Art in Long Beach this is a combination Dia de los Muertos celebration and art show. This event includes musical performances by Thee Commons, Boogaloo Assassins, Buyepongo and Eastside Luv Residente DJ Bsyde Morales. For art lovers there will be an altar installation “A Room of Her Own” honoring Tejano artist, Selena. The event also offers face painting, a photo booth, food and a silent auction.
Boatylicious Halloween Cruise
On October 31st, Catalina Classic Cruises is offering a Boatylicious harbor concert party cruise that features live music and cocktails. The cruise sails at 5pm. Shuttles are available from Hollywood and Santa Monica to take participants to and from the dock. Afterward the cruise the same shuttles will take party goers who are interested to a Boatylicous After Party at a warehouse in downtown Los Angeles.
